Helena Christensen is one of an elite group of international models. She has possibly had one of the most diverse careers available within the modelling industry.
After 20 years in the business Helena is still one of the most in-demand and respected models in the industry.
Besides her modelling career Helena is also a professional photographer, among others she has worked for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Dazed and Confused, Jalouse, Sony Erichsson, Carlsberg and Aveda. Her solo exhibitions include Tokyo, Berlin, London, Amsterdam and New York.
Further more she helped establishing the underground fashion magazine NYLON.
Close to her heart, she also explores and works with her other personal projects such as: Chernobyl Children international Project, Doctors without Borders, and she has just, for the second time, finished photographing the international campaign for Bonos ONE project in Africa.
In 2006 Helena appeared in her first feature film Allegro, director Christoffer Boe, as the female lead, starring opposite Ulrich Thomsen. Helena shows a delicate and fragile naturalness.
